Every Time I Play Scrabble With You It Makes Me Want To Go Back In Time And Kill Your Parents

I think I actually liked Christmas this year.

Do you know why?

I will tell you. It involved no dinner on actual Christmas day, AND no presents under our tree at home!

I know this makes me a horrible person according to some of you (Amy), but I couldn't be happier. I don't have any gift return anxiety, I have minimal paper-waste anxiety because I saved the stuff from any presents I did get (to be re-gifted in the future), and I didn't spend very much money on other people.

Also, I got to go to a wedding. I love weddings. Free food plus booze and crazy dancing (plus making Regan dance to Randy Travis!) Nothing is better than that. I am sorry that I missed out on the awesomeness that is the Box Social, but I assure you I will be kickin' it there next year.

The presents I did get were both useful and awesome (screwdrivers and sweaters), and so I am content.

I will be sitting around marking papers until we go back to school on the 7th so if anyone wants to come and visit (Corwin was here yesterday), please hop on the GO Train and we'll make you feel at home. (Regan is the new king of pancakes).
