I have a plan.
The plan involves marking 3 x ISU Novel Reports per day for the next...... um... many days, so that I don't get behind in marking and have a chance to actually enjoy my holiday. Let's hope this happens. So far it has not. Sixty-two papers at an average of twelve pages each is just so daunting. Ugh.
After that's over I will have to immediately conquer the same amount of Macbeth essays. Probably poorly written Macbeth essays because my students are sick (actually very ill... some of them), and brain tired, and randomly absent lately because their parents think the holidays have already started.
Other than that, Regan and I are gearing up for food and treats this season. Since we won't be able to make it to the Box Social, we extend an open invitation to anyone who wants to come and visit us in Barrie. We have spare double bed that we have been told is very comfortable. We also have food and good times. Plus, we can go look at the smoldering ashes of the downtown core after visiting the Farmer's Market! (it's an exciting time to be in Barrie).
I believe Corwin is hoping to be here Boxing Day, and we don't have any plans for the 29-30th weekend yet. Please come and visit. I decorated a tree and everything Amy! Maybe if you come you can mark one of the kiddies' papers?
