Thank You Carly!

So Carly is awesome (and OK) and she recently sent us this, except ours is WAY better because it's signed by Plaskett, the man, the Maritime legend.

Her generosity resulted from a lunchtime brainstorming session wherein we (Regan and I) created burning questions that we had/have for Plaskett. Sadly, Carly never got to ask the questions because Plaskett is a busy dude and interviews are short, apparently. But... you can read all about the "interview that got away" from our email archives:

Regan writes:

Okay our lunch session has yielded these gems. We will not be offended if you choose to follow your professional judgment instead of our zany whims.
  • You had a cameo in the film One Week. Have you considered any further forays into film?
  • Gord Downie was also in One Week, though you didn't have any scenes together. Would you ever consider doing a buddy comedy with Downie in which he plays an escaped mental patient and you are his towering, affable, possibly imaginary wizard companion? Atom Egoyan could direct!
  • Gordie Johnson produced a few of your most recent releases, and you self-produced the new one with Johnson helping to mix it. When are you and McGettigan going to collaborate again?
Then we thought of the obvious ones like "Why a triple album?" and "Why threes?" and "Are you serious?"

There is a reason why you query rock stars while Sherry queries teenagers and I query databases.

Good luck!

Also, there was originally a question in there about the possibility of him fathering my children but Regan put the kibosh on that one. I wonder if he would still play at our wedding though?* I asked him once when I was under the influence at the Starlight. hmmmm....

*may or my not actually occur.
