Shakespeare Got to Get Paid, Son

Finally, all my toil has paid off.

Thursday and Friday of this past week were my first official days as a PAID, that's right paid, teacher. When the Occasional Supply Secretary finally discovered that I was in the school everyday she freaked out (in a good way) and decided to be awesomely nice and get me some supply work.

Ironically supply teaching involves basically no teaching whatsoever, and far less work than volunteering. Either way, I'm happy to have some bling in my pocket. When school's over in a week and a half I'll still be screwed financially, but at least for now there's a bit of monetary assistance.

Last night was my friend Janelle's 24th birthday and a group of about 18 of us went out to celebrate in style. Regan looked ridiculously hot and I wanted to take him away to the Boreal forest to live forever. He's having a great time working at TheCellPhoneStore, for anyone that is wondering/cares, and his blog is temporarily being overhauled. He didn't fall into Lake Simcoe or anything, no worries.

We're looking forward to funtimes at Corwin's cottage (if it's still on.... tsk tsk Corwin) and I'm looking forward to accosting Erin sometime to buy/steal all of her amazing new purses. I abused poor squidy to death, and I promise to be more careful with my next awesome item.

Remember, in the year 2099 white walls will be sacred.
