You Sunk My Battleship

Hello readers! Our wonderful, fRabuLous lady friend Alysia Wyville will be performing in a play next week. I feel it is important that you all - ALL - come to visit and view. Please support her creative efforts, and my slacking off, and make London a slightly less sucky place for everyone!

Below are the details from an email that was JUST sent to me, hot off the invisible presses:

UWO’s Faculty of Education brings the musical Chess to the stage February 21 – 25th .

Set against the Cold War, every move propels us to the inevitable clash between two chess masters, one American and one Russian, and the woman who loves them both.
Tim Rice’s lyrics and Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus’ (of ABBA fame) music creates an unforgettable game that is played on the board and in life.
They move. We move. Your move – buy a ticket $8 - $12 at the Grand Theatre Box Office at (519) 672-8800 or www.grandtheatre.com http://www.grandtheatre.com

OR you can buy tickets at the door.

The show times again are:

  • Tues Feb 21 @ 7:30pm
  • Wed Feb 22 @ 7:30pm
  • Thurs Feb 23 @ 7:30pm
  • Fri Feb 24 @ 8pm
  • Sat Feb 25 @ 2pm AND 8pm
We can get tickets for you for $10.00 I think, so you'll save a few dollars, and I know you all have reading week and/or nothing else to do (Corwin) so come join in the fun. And just in case all of that didn't seal the deal, we've got a drink cart! That's right, drink cart! So awesome it hurts.

Comment or message me on MSN for more details.

lol! well this looks like it's shaping up to be a good time.

Have we all decided what DAY this is going to be on? I'm assuming weekend by the sounds of it... I think Amy can't come up until Sat. afternoon, with Dave, but she's offering rides at that time.

Anyhow, ya'll are welcome for the whole weekend of course, I was just wondering if anyone has to see the play on a SPECIFIC day for schedule reasons.

Friday would be best because then I can crash at my sister's place. If Saturday, I'll have to stay at yours. And I like to grab asses. Just saying.

My ass will be upstairs so it won't bother me none.
