I hereby create this post in response to Amy (who look super hot!), who thinks she has a "problem" and has decreed to the land that shopping is - gasp! - bad.
Yesterday I had to run some errands, including picking up some storage drawers for the Reegmo. It was a HUGE (wonderful) mistake going to the Fairview Mall.
I all honesty I do NEED (in the actual sense of the word) new "grown-up" clothes for practicum. Since jackets are "in" for Fall I figured stocking up now would be a good move. Indeed, I purchased three yesterday, plus a suit and skirt and various other things, and I just have to say that it was aweomse! Things actually fit, a lot of the items were on sale, and I came away feeling as if I had just been shopping with Greg Smith.
So that is my defense of shopping, how dare Amy sully its name.
It's too bad I never happened to get those storage drawers for Regan though.

art is acceptable, if not desired in the crazy lefty world, and it can be argued that fashion is a form of artistic expression, so really how is buying a sweater any worse than buying a few tubs of acrylic and some canvas? embrace the body canvas!
