Hammer Time!

The Regan and I went to The Hammer this weekend to get away and relax.

Oh man, and relax we did.

Many thanks to everyone for the great company, and special thanks to Borrelli-Platts for letting us crash at their oh-so-comfy and parent-free abode.

In not-quite 24 hours we got egged and egged back, ate some delicious dinner by guitar and candle light, visited some excellent art galleries with cheese, schmoozed with some NDP elites, attended the most awesome Cuff the Duke performance I've seen to date (Where Alysia got to play Wayne's guitar and I got to touch his fuzzy, skinny, sweaty, flannel body), crashed on an extra-wide bed for a most wonderful sleep, read the paper and drank coffee in the sunlight, taught Dave to bizzity-burn himself so we don't have to, consumed a most excellent and long anticipated lupper, and loitered loudly and uncontrollably.

Not a bad freakin' time if I do say so myself. I can't wait to go back and do it all again, plus sometime this winter you'll all have to come visit us so we can properly introduce you to the many wonders Barrie has to offer (it will probably take less than 24 hours).

There is always an open and standing invitation to you kids to come visit! You don't even need a reason to come on down and explore all that Hamilton has to offer.
