Utopia

The holidays aren't the same when the Christmas village is being kept in storage.

The extended family (brother, sis-in-law, and terror-on-wheels child) are still staying at the folks' place while their new home gets finished. For this reason we have one rotating tree (pretty unnecessarily swank) but that is all. I sort of miss it. I mean, I hate giftmas, but I sort of miss all my mom's crazy decorations.

Later this week the visitors should be gone and then the REAL decorations can come out. Or at least that's the hope I'm holding on to.

For the time being, I've settled for some freaky fiber-optic snowmen and a wreath. I've also tamed the abominable snow-child with "Bambi," of all things. And ya'll said I was crazy for collecting Disney movies. I showed you!
