Everything is Plaskett, Nothing is Bad

Last night my second love (after Jon Stewart) played the Jane Bond.

Doors opened at 8pm for the 10th Anniversary show and the place was sold out by 8:10 pm. Peter Elkas of Local Rabbits 'fame' opened and I won't argue that he was "super hot too". Plaskett told stories about "Bill Gates" and sung some George Jones and Lefty Frizzell - proving that I'm way cooler than Regan.

The intimate setting was a perfect location for me to ooze Plaskett-love and I couldn't have been happier with the seats we scored/stole. The combination of many purple-by-candlelight Blue Velour Martini's and the Jane's swank atmosphere put me in a mellow mood: a rareity at this time of year.

This time I left Joel alone after the show, but I have full intentions of seeing him again when he gets back into the Ontario-area. I want to go to that happy place again and again.

mmmmm.... Plaskett.
