Regan loves his Battlestar Galactica like tween-age girls love their Miley Cyrus.
I don't get it.
Also, he is a spy.
Anyhow, like I said, I don't fraking get it. I mean, ok, it seems like a decent drama IN SPACE but he loves it. I guess now I understand why he hated Gilmore Girls (somehow he still knew all the plot points).
I'm glad he has some tee-vee that he likes to watch. I am pretty dissatisfied with what the craptacular networks have all been cranking out (even after the writers' strike). The Office is decent and there's always Johnny Stu. Other than that I'm not impressed.
Maybe sometime I'll get the third season of Slings and Arrows. Also, maybe when we get a dog I'll watch "the Dog Whisperer" because Amy says it's awesome.
Does anyone know of any good shows (new or old) that could provide some much needed distraction time (since I don't play video games like the rest of the world)? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I am currently watching Firefly on DVD and I like it a whole bunch, but it's also set in space, so it might not be your thing.
If you haven't seen it, you should watch Deadwood. Deadwood is so good. Like, amazingly good. I've also heard that Carnivale is really great, but I haven't seen it yet. Both of those aren't on the air anymore but you can get them on DVD. And you should watch Twin Peaks. And everybody should always watch X-Files. Oh! And Flight of the Conchords!
I like Supernatural, and know at least one boy who will also admit (albeit shamefully) to watching and enjoying it as well.
I also watch Moonlight, but I like cheesy cheesy vampire shows. I miss Blood Ties, which was set in Toronto, filmed in Vancouver, and for the longest time could only be found on a time shift channel from Calgary.
I second Deadwood and Flight of the Conchords and only the first season of Carnivale.
My completely original and awesome suggestions are: Jeeves and Wooster, Northern Exposure, Freaks & Geeks, Rome, Wonderfalls, The Newsroom, Spaced, Pushing Daisies, and Quantum Fucking Leap. Oh, and Dead Like Me.
30 Rock; Extras; Pushing Daisies (seconded); Flight of the Conchords (seconded); Absolutely Fabulous (its an addiction); Missguided (shut up it's cute); Blackadder; The (frustratingly historically inaccurate) Tudors; and you can always re-watch old episodes of shows like Melrose Place; Who's the Boss, Mad About You; The Wonder Years, Degrassi High, etc. I love internet TV.
I second AbFab and Blackadder and Freaks and Geeks and would also like to add Undeclared.
Robot Chicken, South Park, Stargate Atlantis, Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, and BSG.
Nothing else is really that interesting.
