Hillside tickets go on sale on May 1st. Apparently early bird tickets are worth about $75.00. This is more than last year, but I still think it's a pretty wicked deal all things considered (unless your name's Mike Borrelli).
Last year those early bird tickets sold out in about the first hour. CRAZY! So, if you want 'em make sure you're online early in the day on May 1st.
The second order of business is finding a place to stay. Amy and I booked one campsite each at the Guelph Lake site... that's right... right at Guelph Lake (essentially impossible to get). The sites are near the "nice" washrooms with the showers, and far enough away from the all-night drum circles that we MIGHT not go crazy. We are allowed to have six people and two tents per site. I believe Alexandra has already called dibs on one of these spots.
Anyhow, if you would like to join us it's first-ask first-serve so please leave a comment or send an email and you'll be sure to have a place to stay.

Yes, I have indeed dibsed a spot! Can I also call dibs on one for Tanya? She's coming this year too!
Larissa and I would like a tent spot if possible.
Don't forget about Dave...I doubt he'll be very proactive in this process.
That means that we've only got 4 spots left!
Can Lamey McLamerton and Dopey O'Hipster book spots with you too? If you guys want, I can steal a bunch of music mags from the 13yr olds smoking outside the highschool down the street and you'll know exactly what cool bands to cheer for! If anyone loses their virginity to someone with thick-rimmed glasses, make sure to blog about it (or at least facebook it) so I don't feel like I'm missing a poser-party!
Do you still have spots? I may want one. I haven't quite decided yet if I'm going to come for the whole weekend and just Sunday for ANI DIFRANCO. Which I am very excited about, as you can tell by the caps.
if borrelli is being serious, we have two spots left. If he's being a jackass, we have four.
you make the call.
Can I book a spot? I've decided that $75 is a super deal for a weekend of camping, music, hippies and Ani.
$75 would be my price to fill a seat and at an "Ani" concert. As in they pay me... anyways. $75 is a lot of bread, no matter which way you slice it. Borrelli, we should organize a "not-hillside" type event. All not-at-hillside people could come and, i guess, not be at hillside. Good on you, those who can go though... and if you're desperate for sexy girls in haltertops and sarong... we can um find some...
this year, laura and i live about 5 mins away from the festival. thus, if anyone wants a couch to crush on, we're taking reservations!
hahaha!
Ok, so I interpret the following:
People coming to hillside and camping at the two sites already booked are:
#1
Sherry
Regan
Regan's sister Lindsay
Lindsay's guest
Greg
Larissa
#2
Amy
Dave
Alexandra
Tanya
Carly
Carly's guest???? are you bringing someone with you?
I THINK that means we're full.... but if those two "guests" are not REAL, then there are still two spots left.
Remember: we can only have two tents per site... I'm not sure if any rules really get bent for hillsiders.... does anyone remember seeing more than two tents on a site last year?
I don't have a guest! So you still have one more spot. I can bring a tent, but it's really tiny and only fits two people I think. My good tent got stolen out of my driveway in Wateloo when I was moving. Dicks.
Not only did the Hillside site crash repeatedly at 10am on May 1st, but all the weekend passes sold out in the first morning. I stopped by the hillside office at 1pm and all I could get were Sat/Sun individual passes.
So. Umm. Get some tickets while you can.
Fuck's sake! Ticketpro is the worst thing I've ever seen. I didn't get a confirmation email when I registered, and then the site fucked up after I typed in my credit card info and it was being verified. So I may have a ticket. But I doubt it.
