After what was easily the most stressful, sleepless week of my life I headed back to a city that I love for some much deserved partying.
For those that have never experienced Oktoberfest, I highly recommend it. Polka, sausage, beer, booze, schnapps, more beer. Ahhhhh. Relaxation at its finest. I agree with Nicole that there was a severe lack of polka music at the Rec. Complex last night (compared to last year), and I did lose my cellphone, and Bryn did get randomly punched in the face (wtf?) but other than that the evening was super fun. Oktoberfest is the most colourful holiday by far, and the most intoxicating.
Regan had to work (stupid verylargebookstore), but he arrived around 11pm and then I apparently did dirty things to him on the dance floor. He informed me that unless I stopped flashing my frilly underpants at everyone that the bouncers were going to kick me out. pft. I care not for bouncers and their "rules" so I continued to flash at will, besides it was the end of the night anyhow.
I wish I could have stayed in Waterloo longer. I miss the Princess Cinema, and Uptown waterloo, and yarn stores, and even Laurier with its population of high school kids. I guess London might be an alright town but I don't have any time to go out and enjoy it. Plus, there are more chuckle heads per capita here than in any other university town. So I'll settle for occasional weekend trips to K-dubbs to get hammered, lose things, and wake up with Shea's business card in my bra.
It beats sitting at home picking other things out of my bra.

I like your hat.
I miss wloo too. I miss Len's and Bouclair. All I want are disgustingly cheap remnants, it can't be too much to ask!
